Good News….and Bad News

The good news is – Fraberts is growing! Tear down the wall! (insert Pink Floyd music here)

The bad news is….we need to close down for a few days to get the work done. We will be closed from Sunday, January 1 until Thursday, January 5. We are hoping to be open again on Friday, January 6, but apologize in advance if things are still a little “messy” then.

Fresh Produce Sale!

Lots of fresh produce needs to go in the next two days before we shut down, so it has been priced to move. Bananas, lettuce, peppers, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. Stop by to stock up for the week!

THANK YOU!

…for another great year at Fraberts! Thanks for your support in 2011. We are very excited about our expansion, and plan on serving you even better in 2012 and beyond. Twice as much fresh, local, and delicious food, gourmet pizzas, gourmet paninis, more gluten-free, antipasti, fresh meat counter….. We’ll have it all for you!

Thanks for making our dream come true – Fraberts wouldn’t exist without you!

Happy New Year!

Congratulations Jay and Jo!

Sorry ladies, our sexy chef is now officially off the market. Congratulations to Jay and Jo (of the Goofie Newfie/O’Briens) on their November 22 marriage. The happy couple are currently enjoying a well-deserved honeymoon in Mexico.

Do you have a Dining Card?

The Centre Wellington Rotary Club’s “Dining Card” is a gift that keeps on giving! Valid all year at Fraberts – 50% off the second ready made meal, soup, or meat pie. These will be available later in November for Christmas gifting. Great for those hard to buy for foodies on your list! Information on where and how to purchase the Dining Card will be made available at Fraberts and posted on our website in the near future.

Winter on its way…

Warm up with Chef Derek’s delicious homemade soups, which go very well with our fresh-baked daily bread. Our soups start with made-from-scratch stocks – so are low in salt and rich in flavour! Favoruites include butternut squash (made with maple syrup and dark rum), thai, split pea, chicken noodle, and beef barley.
